I spent a few days in Sydney last weekend and had an awesome time taking in the sights, the fast paced atmosphere it offers up and just enjoyed the sheer size of the City. One thing which I loved was the Heritage there. You really do get a sense you are in Australia when you are there, because of all the old heritage Buildings that still stand. One thing I don’t like about my Hometown, Brisbane, is that there is not much of that left. The running Government at the time, back in the late 70’s, tore it all down, replacing them with multi-level car parks and newer, modern buildings. The State Library of New South Wales was Built in 1845. It is currently home to over 5 Million items. This is the oldest Library in Australia.
